Chocolate World in Hershey, PA (January 2012)

On our way to visit some family (see the next post about our New Jersey Trip) we stopped by The Chocolate World in Hershey, PA. It was a ton of fun! When we got there we first went on a tour but it was not your average walking around boring tour. We sat in a little theme park like cart and went through tunnels and tubes learning about how they make and process the chocolate. It was completely kid friendly and a lot of fun. We ended up going on it twice. After that we did a chocolate tasting class, which wasn't worth the money or time because it was really boring, and then went to let the girls act like factory workers where they packaged some plastic kisses containers. I really wish we had come to Hershey, PA during the summer because they have a huge theme park that looked awesome. We still had a ton of fun and glad we had the opportunity to go. Can you say that you have gone to Chocolate World? We can!

New Jersey Trip January 2012 (Independence Hall/Pat and Ginos/Carlos' Bakery)

Ian and Shayna (Neals brother and sister-in-law) just moved to New Jersey a few weeks ago and since we are going to be moving soon we thought we better go for a visit since they were relatively close. We had such a blast and were so lucky to get a visit in with them. Here is what we got to do in our weekend visit.

Neal and I have been to Pat and Ginos restaurants before but since it was only 10 minutes away from Independence Hall we decided it would be worth the stop. We originally found out about the two friends who started the same type of philly cheesestake sandwhich shop on The Food Network channel show called Diners, Drives and Dives, but they have been famous for years. They sit on kiddie corners attracting people to come to their own instead of their opponents. The only difference between the two is what type of cheese wiz they use and how they cut their meat. We choose Pats to be the best!

I was really excited to go see some of the historical marks that New Jersey has. Some of the things we saw were Benjamin Franklins burial site, the Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell. It was amazing to think of how old all of these buildings are and what their meanings are all about.

So, when we were on our way to Ian and Shaynas house I was just randomly looking up addresses of places to go see and found out that Carlos' Bakery was only an hour away from where we were staying. So on our last full day in New Jersey we hopped on the long train ride (which I have a few photos in there of us) and went to the famous bakery. I am a huge fan of The Food Network Channel but for those who have no idea what I am talking about, Carlos' Bakery is owned by Buddy and his family and they are on a few shows which are called Cake Boss and The Next Great Baker. Sadly, Buddy was not working that day but I was able to snatch a picture with Buddys sister Lisa. It was so EXCITING!

We did a few different celebrations for Kamber this year. On Saturday we went out to dinner with Grandpa and Grammie Lefler.

Got the girls Nails done. (it was Neals idea, seriously hes the best daddy)

Met some friends at the theater to see TANGLED! (Kamber couldn't really stay still, and Sophee was so sad that they cut off Rapunzels hair)

Then on Sunday we had cake and ice cream and opened up presents.

She got a baby stroller, doodlepad....

and a fake puppy dog that walks (which Sophee is having a really hard time with. Doesn't want to admit that it was Kambers birthday and not her own) from Mom and dad and sophee,

but some of her favorite presents were her wallet and beautiful blue hand made dress from Grammie and Grandpa.

So I was watching a show about couponers doing there thing and really saving. Some people do it too excessively in my opinion, but hey, it is a way of providing for their family, so who am I to say anything. I know a little bit about how it works but get pretty confused when it comes to actually going to the store. But today I found some good deals through the blogs that I have on my own blog and came out pretty good.
Because I am very new to this I would be so grateful to anyone that gave me some advice via commenting. I don't plan on going wild, but if theres a great or free deal, Im al over it.

I JUST USED COUPONS!
Here is what I got:
2 -31 count huggies diapers
1- Soft Scrub bathroom cleaner
4- boxes of Pedia care children's medicine
2- boxes lucky charms
2- boxes original cheerios
2- boxes honey nut cheerios
2- boxes reeses puffs

Total before savings = $73.33
Total after savings=$25.63
(plus I got another coupon for pedicare and a $3 register reward for Giant Eagle)
So technically I only spent $22.63

Here are a few important things I learned today-
1- Walgreens was a little tricky for me today. I went in with a four manufacturer coupons, the kind you get in the mail or print out online, and one in-store coupon for the same item. I grabbed four boxes of Pedia Care medicine that were on sale for $6.99. The in-store coupon was a $5 off each box and then the four $2 coupons I had should have made all four of them free. However when i checked out the cashier said a had a balance of $1.98. After questioning this she said that because the last coupon ($2) she was trying to scan was exceeding the balance ($1.98) I had left, it would not take the coupon. After asking if that was all I could do I paid the $1.98 for four boxes of medicine (which is awesome) but called a friend who told me this. You have to give the cashier the manufacturers coupon first and then the walgreens in-store coupon. I haven't tried it yet, but I am hoping it works. If you are reading this and have a solution to the problem please let me know.
2- When I went to Giant Eagle, my local grocery store, I went in with the intent of getting all me coupons doubled, since the store doubles coupons up to $.99. To me I thought this meant if I had a coupon for $1.25 they would double it with $.99. NOPE. They will only double coupons that are labeled for $.99 or less. LAME_O! What can ya do. So I was hoping to get a smoking hot deal with everything I got today, but ended up doing pretty good.

So Neal and I are coming up on year number 4 of our marriage. I can not believe it has been that long, but at the same time I feel we have done so much in our four years together that it has gone by so fast.

Here are some pics of Neal and I before we were married. We try to remember all of the little details about when we were dating because they were so fun. Neal and I met in Hatch, Ut for a fourth of July celebration. One of his room mates was already at my house (in Hatch) for the festivities when they invited him to come. So he came and when i say him, I knew I wanted to get to know him. We both were in other relationships at the time, but obviously that didn't stop either of us. When the weekend was over I didn't know that I would really see him again but I was totally wrong. It just so happend that our mutual friends were soon to be engaged and were mine and Neals roomates. Needless to say we spent a lot of time together as friends in a big group. We saw each other everywhere: hanging out with friends, church, ward activities. So after Neal called it quits with his girlfriend and the same with me, we made it a little more official without needing to say it. We were engaged at the end of October, got to visit his parents in PA in December and were married in the St. George Temple for time and all eternity. More photos to come.

Thanksgiving Weekend! 2010

So all these pictures are out of order so I will just explain the goings on of our Thanksgiving Weekend. A few weeks before Thanksgiving I just thought it would be a very low-key day with our little family, Neals parents and maybe a few friends from our ward, but then I called up my Grandparents that are serving a mission in New York and after a few days of contemplating they decided to come. I was so excited to have a few members of my side of the family for Thanksgiving. As Monday , November 22nd came I couldn't decide what I was more excited for: My birthday on Wednesday, Thanksgiving on Thursday, or Black Friday. Then Monday night came and I was talking to my little brother on Skype when we decided he was coming to visit us for a few days. He decided to come Monday night around 9:00pm , drove to Vegas and was on a plane at 6:00 am Tuesday morning. I was so excited that he was able to come see me because he is leaving for two years, in about four weeks, to serve an LDS mission in KOREA. So if he hadn't come to visit I wouldn't have been able to see him before he leaves.

All I can say is Thanksgiving week was such a blast. I got to spend a lot of time with Dex going down town in pitts. and just hanging out. Then got to visit with my cousin Sara and my Grandparents.

Sophees birthday party!

I really can not believe she is three. Since we took Sophee and her friends out on Friday we had a family party on Saturday. A few things I forgot to mention about Sophee in the last post- Sophee is now potty trained, it took us several weeks to master, and she still has to wear a pull-up at night, but she is a big girl. When they terrible threes are worse then the twos, it is true (lol). Sophee has started up on such an attitude that it drives me crazy some days, but at the same time it is really so funny. She comes up with so many random things. Sophee LOVES to dress up. I hardly get her dressed in real clothes because she finds her dress up clothes minutes after I dress her and changes. I can not wait to get her into dance lessons because I know she will do so well. She loves dancing and has this slow pincesslike motion that makes everyone just laugh because its so cute.

Neal and I took Sophee and her two best friends out for a birthday party. We first went to Dennys and had dinner, and then to the dollar theater to see Despicable Me. I think they had a ton of fun.

Man, what a cutie! Sophee turned 3 October 23rd, 2010. I think she knows it too. For some reason she has started acting like she doesn't need to listen and that she can get away with things. It is a little hard to keep her happy. However, my oldest girly is so beautiful, loving and funny. When its a good day she plays with her little sister and loves to give hugs and kisses. Sophee loves watching Dora, Barbie and Harry Potter. She loves to snuggle when she takes a nap and is great at giving hugs and kisses. I love her so much.

Doug and Barbs Anniversary Cake!

Doug and Barbs 32nd Anniversary was this week and I wanted to make something for them. This was definatly not my original plan. I tried to make a chocolate marshmallow fondant but it just didn't work out (any tips would be appreciated) So I had to improvise with what I had. I just covered the cake with buttercream icing and then dipped a stamp in cocoa powder for the decal.

Mia's Baptism Cake

I was asked by a friend in our ward to make a cake for her daughters baptism celebration. I was told to do whatever I thought would look good-but that Mia (the one getting baptised) was very girly. I tried several new things with this cake. I made the cakes a few days in advance and then froze them- this saved me so much time on the day I put it all together. I got some advice from someone that really helped the cake firm up and be a lot more dense. And we bought a little hand steamer to make the final shiny look.

I really have to thank Neal-my Hubby- for all of his help. He honestly did the bow that is on top of the cake, also helped me with a lot of the white balls on each tier and did so much more. He is amazing-I love you!

This cake has 3 actual cake layers-one chocolate, yellow and confetti. The bottom tier is actually an upside down cake pan that I frosted and covered with fondant. I ended up using 5 cake boxes, so this cake was definatly a big job.

The ZOO, The Science Center, and a few Random

The girls and I have been able to do so many fun things with our play group here in Pittsburgh. The pictures here are of the Zoo and The Science Center. We had long, fun days at both.

These are just some random pics from the last few months. Sophee and Lillie are best friends. However, they have a love/hate relationship. One minute they are hugging and playing and the next they are hurting each other, either way they are a crack up to watch.

Kamber is such a climber. Here she climbed on her mattress, then onto Sophee's bed and then on top of the dresser. Even though she fell down from there once, she kept doing it, so I had to rearrange the room.

Happy FOURTH OF JULY-2010

We really enjoyed going to the park with our friends

and having a BBQ. I don't have any pictures of Sophee because

she was out playing with the kids the whole time.

I also got to make a cake for the BBQ!

I decided to make it the night before at 7pm, went and got

what I needed from the store and started it by 8pm.

With all the baking and decorating I was finished by 1:30am

the next morning. It is a two tier cake but has four layers.

New York- June 2010

So, Neal completed his first 3 months of school and had a week off. I had all these fun things planned to do in/around Pittsburgh and was so excited, but then, my Grandma called (who is serving a mission with my Grandpa in New York) just to say hi and chat. I told her we were just enjoying our time with Neal on his week off and finding things to do when she told us we should come visit her. Well, I gave her the few reasons why we really wouldn't be able to (one of which is that our car is currently sitting with a broken transmission) After I got off the phone I told Neal how awesome it would be to just go to NEW YORK! So after thinking and wishing we started planning. I talked to my Grandma at noon on Monday and after getting my mother in laws car, getting work straightened out and a few other things, we were on the road to NEW YORK at 1:00 in the morning on Tuesday (Neal prefers to drive at night when the girls are sleeping). So we got to spend Tuesday to Friday in NEW YORK. Below are some pictures of what we got to do.

We got to take the girls to one of the beaches on Long Island. It was the first time they had ever been to a beach so it was a lot of fun.

On Thursday we did all of our site seeing in Manhattan. The girls were able to stay with a lady in my Grandparents' ward so we did a lot. We first went and did a virtual tour on the Empire State Building and then took a lot of pictures of the view. There are some of different buildings, Central Park, and ground zero where the twin towers once stood. On our way to and from Manhattan we took the Statton Island Ferry which went right past the Statue of Liberty. It was amazing to see it in person. I also had the first cab ride experience in my life. The driving in New York is CRAZY and scary.

We just had so much fun with GG Lees! They let us stay at their house and they helped us get around to where we wanted to go.

On our way home, around 11:00 at night we stopped by the famous Pats and Genos Philly Cheesesteak stands and got one at each. We liked Genos better.

Down Town (Don Ton) Adventure!

We started out Saturday off with taking the "T" (Trolley) to Station Square in Downtown Pittsburgh. We then got off and walked around and fount the water fountain and let the girls play, and get wet. Our main focus for the day was going on the Gateway Clipper, Goodship Lollipop Cruise. This was a fairey (spelling?) that took us on a cruise on the three rivers in Pittsburgh. The cruise also had a clown which made it fun for the kids. Neal and I really enjoyed it also. All in all, a fun day!

Todays play date with the ward was in South Park at the Childrens Theatre. They did The Frog Princess. The girls sat through the first 30 minutes really well but then started getting really bored the last half. It was a lot of fun though. Sophee loved the princess dresses, as always.

Retirement Cake!

Did this cake on 6/11/10. It is a retirement cake for someone in my ward. Im excited to say that it is my first paying customer (haha lol).The wife called and said she wanted a single layer cake with half chocolate and half yellow cake. So I had to do an 8x8 inch cake each, set them side be side and layer fondant on top. I made the little couch, guy and tv out of rice crispy treat and then layered with fondant. The cake toppers are a kind of messy, but it was my first time ever doing something like that, so i felt good about it.

Strawberry Pickin'

I had a lot of fun taking the girls to the farm today to pick strawberries, play, and see some animals. We didn't come out with very many strawberries because Sophee was picking some really small ones and Kamber would take them out of the basket and throw them on the ground. It was really entertaining to watch.

BBQ Hamburger and Cupcakes

Neal and I hosted a BBQ with some of the younger families in our ward. It ended up being a lot of fun and was a great way to get to know some people. We wanted to have it at a park but of coarse the weather did not agree and we had to move it to the church.

This is the cake that I made for Neals birthday/the BBQ. It is made out of two yellow cake mixes for the bun, two brownie mixes for the meat, and the onion, cheese and lettuce is made out of fondant. For the cupcakes I used vanilla cake for the bun and chocolate cake for the meat and the condiments are frosting. It was pretty quick to assemble since I didn't have to decorate too much. Was a lot of fun!

Neals Birthday

Last year for Neals birthday we (I should say I) didnt do a whole lot. I didn't even make him a cake. So of coarse he has been reminding me about that for awhile.

I started his day off this year with breakfast (that I bought for him and then heated up) at 4:45 am. I then had his car filled with balloons and told him to go out for lunch at school. When he got home from school at 6pm he and I went out to dinner to this whole in the wall Mexican restaurant, (this was big because I don't like mexican food) We then came home and ate a "Better then sex cake" that I made and gave him his couple of presents. I asked him that night if he like his birthday this year and he said YES. So, the lesson I learned from this is that men really do care about things like this and that it was fun to do things for him that made his day special. I love you babe! Happy ??th birthday.

Young Womens Cake

I made this cake for the young womens cake auction for our ward. It has the medallion and all of the colors and themes of the young women. There are three layers: Milk Chocolate, Yellow and Confetti, which are topped off with home-made fondant. Took an entire day but was a lot of fun.

A little about Pitts. from Makensy Lefler!

PITTSBURGH!!! So we live in Bethel Park which is about 10 miles away from the root of Pitts. . The house that is pictured is ours, and is also the typical house you will see on all of the crazy streets here. You look at these old houses from the front and they are all tiny, old, cottage looking houses. Nowadays people are adding on to the backs of the house like ours is. (When I say our house, I really mean Neals parents, which is who we are living with). Once people add on to their homes they are really good sized homes, but I have no idea how people managed before now.

Some of the things that I dislike about Pitts.

#1- Three way stop sign. Now you usually have a 4-way stop at intersections instead of a light, here they not only have 4-way stops but 3-way stops. They are pointless, ridiculous, and time consuming.

#2- The driving/honking. People are very impatient here. They all drive so fast but yet it takes FOREVER to get anywhere. It took me awhile before I could get in the car and drive. I haven't drivin anywhere with anyone else in the car either.

#3- Stops every 300 meters. This is why it takes so long to get anywhere.

Some of the things I like about Pitts.

#1- The ward! We have only been here a week but have done so much with people in our ward. They are so welcoming and so caring. There are no labels or standards to set yourself up to. I am loving it.

#2- All the land. Mostly every house has quite a bit of land which makes playing outside in the yard so much fun.

KAMBER TURNS #1

I really dont like that she is now 1. She has been walking since around 11 months, which is just crazy to me. I just am so sad when I see her doing something new because I just want her to stay little. She has such a funny little personality/attitude. She is usually really happy but can get a little mean when you are giving her, her way. I love this little girl so much!

For her birthday we went to Chuck 'E' Cheese last Saturday. Even though Kamber didn't do anything except eat, Sophee had some fun with the games. Then on Monday the 15th, which is Kambers birthday we just had cake. Fun times with the chocolate icing.

Play time

In our downtime we have been driving around to see where some good play spots are. We have a mall just down the street from us that has a fun play area, which is really nice. There are a lot of outside play grounds too but its just starting to get warm so we haven't ventured out on any of them. Neal doesn't start his diesel mechanic school until the 29th of March so we all just get to play and see the sites. Its been a fun filled little vacation, I guess you could call it.

So, we are here! We have been in Pittsburgh for a little over a full week and it has been DIFFERENT(I will give details of what I mean by DIFFERENT in another post). The drive really wasn't too awful. We left last Friday in the afternoon and arrived Sunday afternoon.

During the drive I wanted to get pictures of all the different states' welcome signs but we only ended up getting a few.

I am trying to sell a few more things that aren't a necessity for us right now. First there is a a clothes line crib bedding set, and two bags/purses/diaper bags. Please let me know if you are interested in any of these things or if you know anyone else that might. Thanks-

These two bags can be used for just about anything. The are made with a reinforcement/stabilizer fabric but can be machine washed. (I would air day them though). There are 6 pockets that cam go on either the outside or inside of the bag. I am selling them for $25 each.

This baby girl bed set is called "Clothes Line". It comes with matching fitted sheet, comforter, blanket, two decor pillows, two decor basket covers, bed skirt and a valence. I am selling this set for $50.

Sophees party turned out to be a lot of fun! I made a Halloween/Birthday cake which turned out to be really fun, and then we did a pinata, had pizza and opened presents! Thanks to everyone that came, Sophee loves all of her presents.

5K and Staheli Farm

Today was long! I started off by going with my brother (Anders) to St. George to run in the Save-a-Sister 5k run! I was so excited because I never stopped to walk, which is really good for me! Anders ran it in 26 minutes and I finished after 30 min 30 sec. Anyways, I am just so proud of myself for doing it!

After showering and hitting a few store we went to the Staheli Farm. It was hot but fun....Sophee seemed to have a good time and both Sophee and Kamber were so tired after we left.

Easter was a lot more fun this year compared to last, because we have a kid who is old enough to enjoy it. Sophee got a mini 4-wheeler(which she loves) and Kamber got a ball(which Sophee loves too). We figured we would get them some outside toys, and by THEM I mean Sophee, since Kamber is obviously too little.

Decorating Sugar Easter Eggs

Our neighbors/friends invited us over to decorate sugar easter eggs this year (I had never heard of them). It turned out to be really fun! Neals is the tie-dye colored one and mine is the one the says happy easter on it. Thanks again Huntsmans for inviting us and sorry Chad for breaking yours.

Every year there is an easter egg hunt at the park here in Cedar City. Last year Sophee didn't do much but this year she got to go out and get some eggs. The weather really stunk this year though (hence the big coats and gloves).

THE SUPER BOWL

OKAY.....so Neal was so excited for the Super Bowl that he just kept chanting "Let's go Steelers, Let's go" all day on Sunday! ME???I was not so enthusiastic, I really do NOT like football, but I have to admit that the SPIRIT of the super bowl is kind of fun to get in to. Neal's mom bought me my steelers jersey two christmas' ago and then bought Sophee her jersey last christmas (I think). And even though I feel bad saying it, this was the first time it has come out of the closet. I am really glad that I had a team to support, well, Neal's team, because it made the day kind of enjoyable, Neal even won a little bit of money from the bet that my family does every year. (I never said we were perfect, oops) So, even though I am not a football fan, WAY TO GO STEELERS!

Sophee's Outside Adventures

Sophee is definatley an outside girlie. She like walking around and kicking the snow. We don't get to stay out too long since it's still pretty cold outside but we do it whenever we can so she isn't cooped up in the house all day. For some reason Sophee really like to watch the water come down the drain, which is what she's doing in the first picture.

So I just looked through my camera and noticed that I didn't take any pictures of Christmas Day. BUMMER! I had ahold of the video camera the whole time. The picture of Sophee with Santa was very surprising. I thought she would love him! But she is crying. The second picture is of our stockings, we had Neals brother and his wife over for Christmas so that's why there are so many. I just want to thank Neal (cause I know he probly wont ever see this) for getting me surprises! I usually let him off the hook and tell him that I will just take the money and get what I want, but this year I MADE him get me something that I didn't know about so I would have something to open up for Christmas. Well, he did FANTASTIC, he got all the things I wanted. I LOVE YOU NEAL!!!!

So, last Christmas Neal's mom got us all Steelers jersys (SP??) Sophee now fits into her little cheerleading outfit and Neal just loves it. We are expecting another baby! SHE is due April 8, 2009. I know we are a little crazy for only having our kids 18 months apart but hey my mom did it and I know lots that have also. I guess I am just trying to tell myself that it will be okay (I hope). I am around 22 weeks right now with a little GUT!! I am at the stage where I just feel fat, and thats not fun. Lets just hope that this pregnancy goes fast. NOT LIKELY! Oh, and we are really excited........haha.

It was way fun going to the pumpkin patch with our family (Rick and T.j, Brad and Christina). We didn't get any pumpkins or go in the corn maze because it got dark really fast, but we got to go on some of the fun rides that they had and see the animals. We really enjoyed ourselves. Sophee even got to have a pumpkin painted on her cheek, even though she got a little tired and moody.

Sophee's birthday was on October 23 but we had a last minute party on the 24. It was a lot of FUN!! We had family and friends there, played games, ate pizza and cake, opened presents and took a bat to the pinata. All the kids dressed up in their Halloween outfits. Sophee was Princess Leah, Teagan was batman, Shelby was a scarecrow girl, Kalex was a transformer guy, Mylor was Darth Vater (SP?), Mason was Yoda and Triston was a lion.

Pittsburgh and D.C.

Neal and I got back from our trip about a week ago. We were definatley glad that we could go visit all the family but it's nice to be home. I personally was very excited to go to the D.C Temple TWICE. We went once for Jays endowments (he enters the MTC on Dec. 10th) and then the next day we went to Ian and Kayla's wedding. We really loved to see all of our cousins, siblings and parents (Sophee had such a blast with all the attention), and hope to see them again soon.

Thank you to Aurie for letting us leave our car at your house and taking us, and picking us up at the airport, we really got to save money from not having to pay for parking. We really appreciate it! (please get me your mailing address through e-mail or a comment)

Thank you to Neals mom and dad who helped us out with the whole trip (we probably couldn't have made it without their help) and for taking Sophee shopping.

Thank you to all the siblings and cousins who gave Sophee so much attention, Neal and I really appreciated the time we got to be alone.

HELP.....PLEASE!!!!!

So Neal and I are going to Pittsburgh the 15th through the 20th this month, and are flying out of Las Vegas (McArran Airport). I have been trying to find the cheapest way possible for parking. I have called several hotels to see if they would let me leave my car for five days and the ones that I have called, say NO. I also have been googling to find cheap parking around the airport and can't find anything cheaper then $60.00.
If anyone knows of something that is cheaper then this please let me know, ASAP.

Sophee likes to help Mommy

So one day Sophee was in the office with me and she somehow found out how to get into the drawers and find the paper clips. Instead of just putting them in her mouth where I could see her she crawled all the way to the couch, where I couldn't see her too well, and started eating them. Luckily I saw her before it got really bad! Sophee just likes to help me when I am at work. She usually makes sure I have put all the right things in the trash can by pulling it all out for me, she also like to though pens and markers at me!

Neal, Sophee and I went to Hatch to go ride my families new horses. I haven't ridden horses in so long. I forgot how sore my legs can get. I really love that we can go to Hatch whenever we want and have so much land to play on. We always get to go out on 4-wheelers, and go fishing and swimming in the ponds. Even though I couldn't wait to get out of Hatch when I was in high school I miss it now.

Property Management

So .........I just completed my first week of being a property manager and I am still alive (haha). My first day was incredible, I had people bringing me rent, I just opened the list (which there was a huge line outside my office door) and I was moving. After that day things got a little easier but still stressful. I am the kind of person who can't sleep if there was something I forgot to do that day or I have something to do the next day, and that is a problem with this job. (YIKES) I am going to have to figure out how to relax and not think about things until the next morning or something.......so I can get some shut eye.
Even though our lives are complete chaos right now, Neal and I are so greatful for this opportunity of being managers. I am able to see Neal at home all day, and he gets to watch Sophee from 9-1 every morning. I love having them around.

So, I just kind of got to thinking about how I totally can abandon my friends and family when I am having problems or stress in my life. I think that I can be a total jerk for not seeing how my friends are doing or even getting together with them. When I have something going on in my life I kind of disappear off the face of this earth. I don't return phone calls, I don't do things when asked and I don't really talk to anyone. This is not good-and I know it! SO......... if you think I am being a total jerk and wont talk to you or something please don't think that I don't like YOU because it is totally me and my life. I really need to learn how to get over my own problems and help out those that I love. So sorry to my friends and family.

Pittsburgh has been so much fun! The weather has been crazy though. It will be sunny and hot outside.........and literally the next minute it will be hailing. We have done a lot of fun things like, theme parks, baseball games shopping, graduation etc.... We love spending time with all of our family here in Pitts.

10 Years ago:

OH BOY!!. I can't even remember what I was doing 10 years ago cuz I WAS 10. HMMMM.. . . . . .I was still living in California with my family. My dad had remarried and I had two other brothers. I was one of 9 kids. We worked on rebuilding our new house to that it fit all of us. Oh ya, and I was homeschooled. Other then that I don't remember too much.

5 THings on my list today:

1- Wake up and get ready for the day (Didn't do that one)
2- Go to work
3- Babysit
4- Give Sophee her medicine
5- WORK OUT

What would I do if I became a millionaire:

Well, first I would go on a cruise. After that I would make sure my kids never knew I was a millionaire because I want them to always work for what they want, its a very important lesson to be learned. I would build a nice house that would fit me and my 6 kids (Neal only knows about 4 hehehehe) And after I had payed off all my debt I would give some away to the poeple I care about and that needed it more then me.

4- I played every sport in high school that i could: Basketball, volleyball, track, cross country, drill team, and cheer.
5-I am head over heals for my husband. (Im sure everyone knows that though)

I am a pretty picky eater, but if I can get my hands on something you better believe its already in my mouth. I have so self control when it comes to FOOD. MMmm

Happy Valentines Day

Neal and Makensy were going to spend our Anniversary in St. George but over the weekend our little Sophee got pretty sick. We took her to the doctor several times where they said she had the Croop. After a long day on Saturday we took her to the E.R. to get x-rays taken. The doctor treated her for pnemonia (i hope i spelled that right).

She is doing much better, but still has a pretty bad cough. We give her medicine 3 times a day, so I hope this will be over in no time.
